Job summary

Dagen is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support the Payroll and Human Resources functions. You will process payrolls in a multistate, multicompany environment using Ultipro/UKG, ensure accurate deductions, and maintain records for 500+ employees.

The role requires confidentiality, proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and the ability to explain payroll policies to employees. A college degree is not required, though accounting or finance coursework is preferred, with at least three years

Qualifications

• At least three years of multi-state payroll experience in Ultipro or UKG.
• Confidentiality and deep professionalism.
• Willingness to work standard hours in-office.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
• College degree not required; some accounting/finance coursework preferred.
• Fluent in English for written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Process hourly and salary payrolls on established deadlines.
• Maintain payroll records for 500+ employees in paper and electronic format.
• Understand and perform payroll tax calculations.
• Answer employee payroll questions and policy clarifications.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports with accounting.
• Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employment records.
