Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee all payroll processing, tax, system administration, reporting, and compliance. You will lead payroll associates, collaborate with department leaders, and ensure accurate, timely payroll across multiple states.

The role requires strong knowledge of payroll laws, experience with UKG UltiPro, and a track record of building efficient payroll processes in a multi-unit retail environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years processing high-volume, multi-state payroll.
• Three+ years leading payroll teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of payroll processes, laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and ensures timely processing of weekly/bi-weekly payrolls for ~5000 associates across 45 locations.
• Formulates and implements payroll strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Trains and mentors payroll staff.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local payroll laws and wage/hour laws.
• Oversees quarterly and annual filings (941s and W-2s).
• Reviews payroll reconciliation to GL and ensures accurate postings.
