Alkegen in Manchester, CT, seeks a Payroll Specialist to independently process payroll across multi-location, multi-state environments. You will analyze payroll accounts, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with HR, Benefits and outside providers while upholding confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and working knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws. Experience with Workday and UKG is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing payroll across multi-location, multi-state environments.
• Proficiency with Excel and data entry for audit purposes.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws.

Responsabilités

• Process one or more full cycle multi-state payrolls.
• Maintain related records and tax reports.
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits and outside providers.
• Verify change reports and ensure accuracy of payroll transmissions.
• Prepare accounting transactions and special payroll reports.
