Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform non-technical general building maintenance and related tasks in a commercial property setting. This role involves custodial duties, minor repairs, painting, and basic grounds maintenance.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; mechanical aptitude is a plus. Safety training is required, and the work may include shift work and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of related experience in a commercial property setting preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to use smartphones, tablets, computers, and building automation systems.
• Must complete safety training and comply with dress code.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance under close supervision.
• Custodial duties, grounds maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Replace door hardware, locks, and keys.
• Interior and exterior painting, surface prep for wood/metal/drywall.
• Move furniture and set up modular systems; assist on projects.
• Respond to emergencies and service requests as assigned.
