Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics and repairs across commercial buildings and related equipment. The role requires hands-on work with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, plus preventive maintenance and safety compliance.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in a commercial property setting, a High School Diploma or GED, and basic computing skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, pumps, valves).
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, controls, and equipment.
• Inspect buildings and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems as assigned.
