Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial buildings and related systems. You will support equipment, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and safety tasks to keep properties safe and functional.

This role requires hands-on skills, a valid driver’s license, basic computing skills, and the ability to work extended shifts or on-call for priority repairs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
• May be on-site alone during certain shifts; overtime or on-call may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pumps, valves).
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps and mechanical/hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Repair building finishes and perform painting as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
• Inspect for unsafe conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate fire and life safety systems as assigned.
• Comply with safety training, dress code, and company directives.
