Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with operations, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs across commercial properties and industrial systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting buildings and installed systems, repairing pumps, valves, and HVAC, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of related experience, and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting or carpentry
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving record
• May require shift work and/or on-call duties
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including packaging/machinery, plumbing, roofing, drainage, shop/grounds equipment, and HVAC
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, painting, piping, floors and equipment
• Respond to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned
• Inspect buildings/grounds/equipment for unsafe conditions and preventive maintenance
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems as assigned
• Comply with codes, regulations and company directives; practice safe work habits
• Use technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and building automation systems
