Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations and maintenance across commercial properties. The role covers troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of building systems, machinery, and grounds. The candidate will work with a range of equipment and respond to urgent service requests.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
• Shift work and/or on-call duties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and systems including HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and electrical components.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment.
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceilings and walls.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer service requests.
• Maintain fire and life safety systems as assigned.
• Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
• Comply with safety training and company dress code.
