Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial buildings and facilities. The role involves handling HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and grounds tasks, plus preventive maintenance and safety compliance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or related fields.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
Clean, lubricate, service pumps, valves, and other equipment; handle calibration as needed.
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Replace and repair building finishes and perform painting where required.
Troubleshoot and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations for savings opportunities.
Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety and preventive maintenance.
Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems as assigned.
Possess basic tool use knowledge and maintain a neat, safe work environment.
Work on-call, overtime, or shift work as required.
