Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Training Coach II to deliver, coordinate, and support clinical and operational training programs across the Oregon market. This role mentors MA learners to ensure smooth transition to independent patient care support for Providers in the market.

As an MA, you may cover shifts and support Providers, Radiologic Technologists, and patients with patient care management, organization, and communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active clinical certification or license (MA, EMT, Paramedic, or LPN).
• Required certifications (e.g., BLS).
• 2+ years of clinical experience in urgent care, outpatient, or similar clinical settings.
• Prior experience as a Training Coach, Preceptor, or equivalent role
• Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate new hire onboarding, clinical skills training, and workflow education.
• Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on training; serve as backup facilitator as needed.
• Reinforce standardized workflows, policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide coaching and feedback to support learner development, readiness, and a positive onboarding experience.
• Monitor learner attendance, training progress, and completion using established tracking tools.
• Communicate learner status, readiness, and concerns to Training and Operations Leadership.
• Identify training gaps and recommend improvements to training materials, processes, and delivery methods.
• Support pilot programs, training initiatives, and process improvement efforts.
• Provide clinical support based on business needs when assigned training responsibilities have been completed.
