Job summary

US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities with Texas Oncology is seeking a Scheduler to support Weatherford, Granbury, Azle, and Cleburne locations. This full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm role has no weekends or major holidays. Level can be 2 or Sr based on experience.

Under supervision, you will schedule patient appointments, manage referrals, handle insurance authorizations, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient front-office operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and tests efficiently.
• Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Enter insurance authorizations and referrals in EMR.
• Collect co-pays and manage billing-related tasks.
• Maintain scheduling templates and coordinate with staff.
