The US Oncology Network is seeking a Scheduler to support Texas Oncology in Arlington, Dallas, and Irving. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with no weekends or holidays.

Two experience levels (Level 2 or Sr) are available based on background to schedule patient appointments and tests efficiently. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of office experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling, and authorization processes recommended.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) expected.

Responsabilités

• Answer incoming calls, assess needs, and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Schedule new, referred, and returning patients per physician/office guidelines.
• Enter insurance authorizations and referrals into EMR/chart records.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket amounts at visit.
• Maintain scheduling templates for physician meetings and satellite clinics.
• Coordinate with financial counseling as needed and protect patient confidentiality.
• Follow front-office policies to maximize efficiency and support other roles.
• Prepare correspondence and forms as requested by supervisor.
• Schedule outpatient tests or surgeries and obtain necessary pre-certifications.
