US Oncology Network is seeking a Scheduler for Weatherford and nearby Texas locations. This full-time role supports patient appointments and testing from 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or major holidays. The position offers growth from Level 2 to Level Sr based on experience.

Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling in the EMR, handling referrals, and coordinating with financial counseling. Strong Microsoft Office skills and medical terminology knowledge are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years office experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Answers incoming calls and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Schedules new, referred, and returning patients in the EMR system according to physician schedules.
• Obtains insurance authorization and coordinates referrals in patient charts.
• Collects payments including co-pays and deductibles at time of visit.
• Maintains scheduling templates and supports front office efficiency.
• May schedule outpatient appointments, testing, or surgeries and arrange pre-certifications.
