Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

The role involves completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, managing the make-ready process for vacant units, handling inventory, documenting work, and assisting in grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance and repairs following safety standards.
• Ability to diagnose defects and complete preventative maintenance.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Complete the "make-ready" process for vacant apartments.
• Manage materials and inventory for maintenance.
• Document requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing parts when possible.
• Attend safety trainings and follow OSHA policies.
