Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and preparing units for leasing.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and prior maintenance experience with attention to safety policies.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.
• Experience with maintenance tasks and following safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance on the property.
• Execute the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain materials, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning and minor painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving efforts by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
