Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure property buildings, grounds, and amenities meet company standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and support make-ready preparations across occupied and vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, adherence to safety and regulatory requirements, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal are required.
• Certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions for all technicians.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance per policies and safety codes.
• Finish make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory and coordinate materials with maintenance for reorders.
• Document service requests accurately to enable traceability.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost control by repairing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
