Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet safety and cleanliness standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and help prepare vacant units for leasing, coordinating with contractors as needed.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal), state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license for property operations. Typical duties include documentation, safety adherence, and on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal).
• All state and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on the property following safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling trades.
• Track inventory and return unused items to the appropriate location; notify supervisor on re-orders.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property
