Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of a midrise property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings and common areas.

Typical duties include completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and the make-ready process for vacants, while coordinating vendors, managing inventory, and documenting all activities. Must meet EPA refrigerant certifications and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing the source of defects and repairing in compliance with safety standards and codes.
• Makes ready for new move-ins by inspecting units, creating a punch list, coordinating vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Obtains materials and tools from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation to correctly document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and general upkeep.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts where feasible and practicing efficient use of materials.

Education
