Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist in Seattle to drive leasing, engage prospective residents, and maintain strong resident relations at Liam Apartments and Vive Ballard. The role emphasizes sales focus, property tours, and timely paperwork while collaborating with maintenance and marketing teams.

In this in-person position, you’ll manage ads, process move-ins/move-outs, and support the community’s retention goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ year working in customer service.
• 1+ year prior sales or leasing experience.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn/navigate software systems.
• Prior experience in property management or similar industry is a plus.
• NALP Certification, or other NAAEI credential, is a plus.
• Yardi/CRM and OnSite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leasing: generates lease paperwork and other documents in line with laws and regulations.
• Leasing: focus on sales, closing ratios, and team performance.
• Leasing: trains and mentors team on lease generation and etiquette.
• Leasing: greets prospects, shows the community, performs leasing duties.
• Leasing: maintains a favorable closing ratio for the property.
• Leasing: ensures cleanliness of tour path, vacant units, and model units with maintenance.
• Resident Relations: fosters community and maintains positive relations.
• Resident Relations: inspects property and reports needs to maintenance.
• Resident Relations: knowledgeable of leasing and retention.
• Marketing: manages ads on Craigslist, Weblisters, and listings.
• Marketing: stays aware of local market conditions and suggests improvements.
• Administrative: answers calls and emails promptly; updates reports daily.
• Administrative: files leases, paperwork; proofs all lease paperwork and moves.
• Administrative: processes security deposits; handles service requests with maintenance.
