Job summary

United Urology Group is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist Float to provide superb customer service to patients and staff and support for the office with minimal supervision.

You will schedule appointments, handle registrations, collect payments, and ensure proper documentation across PM and EHR systems. The role requires travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region and delivers a patient-first experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Two years front office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, professional first impression for patients and staff.
• Schedule appointments and assist with testing as directed by the physician.
• Prepare all required patient paperwork for that day’s appointments.
• Collect co-pays and past balances at check-in and enter into Practice Management.
• Enter demographics and clinical information into Practice Management and EHR.
• Scan driver’s licenses and insurance cards front and back into Ntierprise.
• Obtain referrals, scan into the EMR, and link to that day’s appointment.
• Reconcile daily payment batches and report to Site Manager.
• Schedule follow-up procedures and coordinate local ASC cases.
• Assist patients with Phreesia registration.
• Travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region.
