Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will learn multiple routes, load and deliver garments, and maintain safety and service standards on customer sites.

Work independently yet collaborate with the Service and Management teams to support installations, rerouting, and collections, while upselling where appropriate. A proactive, agile approach and strong customer service are essential in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• Driver’s License & Safe Driving Record: Must be at least 21 with a valid license, clean driving record, reliable transportation.
• DOT Compliance: Meet all Department of Transportation requirements, including a physical exam.
• Educational Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or military service.
• Strong Customer Service Skills: Ability to work independently while delivering excellent service.
• Relevant Experience: Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using new technologies to improve operations.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and being on feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes, loading and unloading as needed.
• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and understand customer details to provide top-tier service.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer relationships through positive interactions.
• Resolve customer requests independently, applying problem-solving skills for satisfaction.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory checks, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure everyone's well-being.
• Collaborate with Service and Management teams on new account installations, rerouting, and collections.
• Communicate customer feedback and market activity to location leadership.
