Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for the Deveraux Glen multifamily community in Portland, ME. You will support the Property Manager to keep the property market-ready, deliver high service levels, and lead a high-performing on-site team.

This role requires 3+ years of property management and 1+ year of leadership. You will oversee operations including budgeting, leasing, marketing, and vendor contracts while ensuring excellent resident service and timely communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• 3+ years of Property Management experience.
• 1+ years of Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the community in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist Property Manager with operations including budget, leasing, marketing, and contracts.
• Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects.
• Prepare lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.
• Maintain on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, coaching.
• Manage the community budget and financials.
• Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals.
