Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician in Oceanside, CA. The role covers the upkeep of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for occupied and vacant units, while ensuring inventory control and proper documentation. A strong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property maintenance experience required.
• Previous multi-family experience is a must.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move inspections and punch lists.
• Manage materials and inventory, tracking usage and reordering needs.
• Document all work and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and minor painting.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts when feasible and avoiding waste.
