Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose, repair, and complete make-ready tasks on schedule.

This on-site role requires 2+ years in property maintenance, OSHA awareness, EPA/HVAC certs, and a proactive, independent mindset. You’ll coordinate with vendors, document work, and help keep residents safe and satisfied.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• May be required to hold various certifications (e.g. HVAC) and licenses.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and a collaborative member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects to meet safety and code standards.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory and requisition supplies; notify management of re-order needs.
• Document all work orders accurately and promptly for records.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with cleaning and minor painting as needed.
