Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks to prepare units for leasing, while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will manage inventory, document work orders, and support cost-control initiatives.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification is required for technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (where applicable).
• OSHA or safety-related training is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspection, punch list, and scheduling vendors.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and inventory with the maintenance team and report re-orders.
• Document all service requests accurately to ensure tracking and accountability.
• Assist in grounds and common area upkeep and perform painting and basic cleaning as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing them when feasible.
