Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and overall functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, managing inventory, documenting tasks, and maintaining grounds and amenities. The role requires OSHA training, EPA certifications, and a valid driver's license for on-site operations.

Responsabilités

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and performs preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by inspecting pre-move-out, creating a punch list, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing tasks, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials, track inventory, return unused items, and notify maintenance supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork timely and accurately to document and track service requests.
• Assists with grounds, common areas, and amenities by trash pickup, pressure-washing, cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools correctly to avoid waste.
• Complies with safety and risk management policies, attends safety meetings, undergoes required OSHA training, and reports accidents promptly.
• May inspect contractors' work to verify quality and compliance with standards.
• Assists in routine property inspections to identify safety concerns and communicate needs to management.
• Incumbents must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
