Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to keep residential properties in excellent condition. You will diagnose and repair issues in units and common areas, complete make-ready tasks, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely service.

You will manage work orders, document activities for compliance, and help maintain safety and quality across the property. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential for resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• 3 years minimum experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventive maintenance.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing by completing make-ready tasks and inspections.
• Obtains materials, tracks inventory, and coordinates with supervisors for re-ordering as needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and light repairs.
• Assists in cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
