Job summary

Harbor Group Management in seeks a Property Manager to oversee the operational, financial, and administrative aspects of a multifamily property in New Orleans. You will supervise on-site staff, manage vendors and maintenance, and drive performance to meet budgeted targets and occupancy goals.

You will implement leasing and marketing strategies, ensure compliance with laws, and maintain high resident satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in multifamily property management.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Understanding of lease agreements and rent collection.
• Proficient with MS Office and PM software.
• Knowledge of real estate contracts and compliance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property operations within budget constraints.
• Analyze financials and prepare forecasts.
• Set rents, collect and post rent, manage delinquencies and renewals.
• Approve and reconcile vendor invoices.
• Supervise on-site staff and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with housing laws (Fair Housing, ADA, etc.).
• Develop leasing/marketing strategies to drive occupancy.
• Resolve resident service requests promptly.
