Job summary

Mill Creek Residential seeks a Service Technician Level II to maintain the physical condition of our apartment communities. You will perform make-ready tasks, repairs, and preventative maintenance, ensuring quality workmanship and timely responses to service requests.

You will inspect vacated units, coordinate renovations, and uphold safety standards while delivering excellent resident service and complying with all laws and Mill Creek policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years’ maintenance experience.
• Multi-Family maintenance experience helpful.
• HVAC and CPO certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• General computer skills with Microsoft Office and PM software.
• Safe operation of maintenance equipment.
• Ability to read instructions and complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and performing general duties, preventative maintenance, and repairs consistent with Mill Creek Residential operating and safety standards
• Thoroughly inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, and re-inspect units for quality and presentation
• Routinely perform duties to restore apartments to make-ready status
• Respond to problems with repairs: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and related systems
• Inspect community grounds and buildings to ensure safety and identify maintenance projects
• Respond to resident requests in a timely manner, delivering excellent customer service
• Promote safe work practices among on-site team
• Ensure compliance with all laws, including Fair Housing regulations
• Address and complete all other duties as assigned
