Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Maintenance Technician for multifamily properties in the Washington, DC area. You’ll ensure quality move-ins, responsive service, and high resident satisfaction. On-site role involving general maintenance and safety adherence.

Responsibilities include plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry tasks, and timely response to resident requests. The role requires a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II/CPO certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational training required.
• At least 1 year of related maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Type II and CPO certifications preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments including painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
• Respond to resident requests promptly with professional attitude.
• Perform maintenance tasks in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns to supervisor and complete scheduled work.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
