Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily properties in the Charleston area. The role focuses on delivering quality move-in experiences, quick service responses, and high resident satisfaction.

The technician will perform plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep, while maintaining safety and compliance across sites. A valid license and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license and EPA 608 Type II/CPO or local city certificate.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as manuals and safety rules.
• Compute rates, ratios, and percentages; interpret simple graphs.
• Able to solve problems with basic math and common sense.

Responsibilities

• Prepares make ready apartments including painting, cleaning, and general repairs.
• Responds to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintains grounds, pools, and common areas to keep them safe and clean.
• Performs maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, basic electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• On call scheduling may be required for after hours emergencies.
• Reports maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor and performs scheduled tasks.
• Delivers superior customer service and represents Cushman & Wakefield professionally.
