Job summary

The Hallmark Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on apartment equipment, including HVAC, appliances, electrical, and plumbing systems. This on-site role requires you to bring your own tools and to maintain building systems and appearances.

You will inspect units, manage maintenance requests, train junior staff, and assist in regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

Two years maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
Previous multifamily experience preferred.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs repairs, troubleshoots systems, and completes preventive maintenance.
On-site basic repairs including HVAC, appliances, water heaters, electrical and plumbing systems.
Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
Assist in training Groundskeepers and entry level Maintenance Technicians.
Inspect and document work, oversee subcontracted services and ensure quality.
Perform preventive maintenance including winterizing facilities and pool equipment.
Move heavy equipment safely and maintain inventory of parts.
Complete administrative duties for maintenance requests and record keeping.
