Job summary

The Hallmark Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshoot, and conduct preventive maintenance of apartment equipment including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances. Must have own tools and be available for after-hours emergencies. Two years of maintenance experience are required.

HVAC/EPA certifications and multifamily experience are preferred. The role involves inspections, training staff, and on-site work at one location with some overtime and on-call

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience or equivalent
• HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred
• Previous multifamily experience preferred
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and complete preventative maintenance
• Handle on-site basic repairs including HVAC, appliances, electrical and plumbing systems
• Be available for emergency maintenance calls 24/7 when scheduled
• Assist in training Groundskeepers and entry level Maintenance Technicians
• Inspect building and alarm systems and assist in regulatory inspections
• Execute preventive maintenance including winterizing facilities and pool equipment
• Inspect vacant units and prepare turnovers as needed
• Document work and quality of subcontracted services
• Move heavy equipment safely and maintain parts inventory
