Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Columbia, SC to assist with the full range of maintenance duties for a multifamily community. You will perform repairs, preventative tasks, make-ready work, and daily upkeep under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety and Fair Housing laws. On-site work with on-call duties supports community operations and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance.
• Assist with make-ready process under supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas for hazards and ensure safety standards.
