Job summary

The Hallmark Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshoot, and provide preventative maintenance for apartment equipment, including HVAC, appliances, electrical and plumbing systems. Must have own tools and be able to respond to emergency calls on a 24-hour schedule.

Two years of maintenance experience is required; HVAC and EPA certifications are preferred, and CPO is a plus. The role includes training junior staff, supervising contractors, and ensuring safety and

Qualifications

• Two years maintenance experience required or equivalent
• HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred
• Previous multifamily experience preferred
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on apartment systems.
• On-site basic repairs including HVAC, appliances, electrical, plumbing.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
• Assist in training Groundskeepers and entry level Maintenance Technicians.
• Inspect and document systems; supervise subcontractors for quality.
• Maintain inventory and properly record maintenance requests.
