Job summary

Residential ONE seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of its multi‑family properties. You will perform a broad range of light repairs, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks to keep units and common areas in good condition.

You will be involved in scheduling inspections, refurbishments between resident turn‑over, and coordination with managers and approved vendors. On‑call shifts and safety compliance are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• On-call schedule required and includes evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Maintenance experience with multi‑family housing is preferred.
• Familiarity with Safety Standards Acts, OSHA, and related safety rules is desirable.
• Formal training or experience in carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, or refurbishing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all maintenance projects.
• Perform light electrical repairs on fixtures, switches, and outlets.
• Perform light plumbing work, such as clearing stoppages and replacing fittings.
• Repair or replace broken glass, tile, carpet, fixtures, and hardware.
• Paint interior and exterior areas, including drywall prep and wallpaper removal as needed.
• Carry out carpentry tasks like door fitting, shelving, and trim installation.
• Assist with custodial tasks and grounds maintenance as required.
• Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with property managers and vendors.
