Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the property's physical integrity and appearance, handling routine maintenance, resident requests, and maintaining safe, functional community spaces. The role supports the seamless operation of multifamily properties and requires hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall or painting.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal for refrigerant handling.
• Multifamily (apartment) maintenance experience highly desired.
• Available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and mechanical maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair.
• Respond to resident service requests using a work order system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, inspect and create punch lists.
• Maintain amenity areas and common spaces through cleaning and minor painting.
• Inspect work by vendors to ensure quality and scope.
• Assist in property inspections to identify maintenance needs.
