Job summary

Omninet Capital LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties and uphold customer service and curb appeal.

You will perform repairs (electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC, grounds) and conduct preventative maintenance, coordinate with the maintenance supervisor, and respond to emergencies to ensure resident satisfaction and property safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or directly related field.
• HVAC certification is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds.
• Complete carpentry tasks such as drywall repair, cabinet replacement, window/door repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, including painting, lighting, and safety inspections.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with emergencies such as snow removal, fires, and floods.
• Communicate issues to the maintenance supervisor promptly.
• Promote safety and risk management per regulations.
• Participate in after-hours on-call maintenance as required.
• Maintain professional appearance and customer-friendly interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
