Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the physical integrity and appearance of a multifamily property. You will ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include performing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs, and assisting in inspections. Excellent customer service and adherence to safety guidelines are essential in this on‑site role.

Qualifications

• One-year prior experience in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair).
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and glass replacement.
• Respond to resident service requests and track repairs with a work order system.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents with inspections and punch lists.
• Maintain amenity areas through cleaning, trash removal, and minor painting.
