Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a multifamily property in Ventura, CA. The role involves performing make-ready tasks, repairs, and routine maintenance to ensure high resident satisfaction and timely service responses.

Responsibilities include responding to resident requests, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the maintenance supervisor with scheduling and reporting. A valid Driver's license, EPA 608 Type II, and CPO/certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• EPA 608 Type II certification and CPO/local city certificate preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret policies, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments (painting, carpet, cleaning, basic repairs).
• Respond to resident requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenity spaces to keep them safe and operable.
• Perform maintenance tasks across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and painting.
• On-call duties may be required to respond to after-hours issues.
