Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily properties in San Jose. The role focuses on making move-ins smooth, delivering superior resident service, and performing essential maintenance tasks on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school required.
• 1+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (EPA 608 Type II and CPO or local city) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare move-in ready apartments including painting, repairs, cleaning, and housekeeping.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Provide maintenance support to ensure quality move-ins and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain building grounds, pools, common areas, and dog park amenities.
• On-call scheduling may be required for after-hours emergencies.
