Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for a High-Rise property with 206 units. You will handle routine and preventative maintenance, make-ready tasks, and safety compliance to keep buildings clean, safe, and functional.

Responsibilities include diagnosing defects, coordinating vendors, maintaining grounds, and documenting work requests. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required where applicable. This is an on-site role with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Requires EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (applies to certified service technicians).
• Possesses a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).
• Must meet state and local jurisdiction certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing via make-ready, inspections, punches, and coordinating vendors.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor for reorders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
