Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Altoona, IA to assist in performing maintenance tasks across the property, including routine, preventive, emergency, and cosmetic work. You will contribute to make-ready efforts under supervision, while upholding safety and quality standards for residents and common areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community and unit common areas in good condition.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Perform preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance tasks.
• Assist with make-ready process and turnover of vacant units.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
