JES Holdings, through Fairway Management, seeks a skilled maintenance professional to service over 250 apartment communities and rental subdivisions. The role emphasizes timely unit turns, plumbing and electrical repairs, HVAC basics, painting, and general upkeep to ensure quality housing for residents.

The ideal candidate demonstrates punctuality, reliability, and proactive problem-solving, with experience in building systems and a willingness to train on HUD/LIHTC standards and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and building systems (e.g., door entry systems, fire suppression).
• Knowledge of REAC and INSPIRE inspection preparation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC during unit turns, work orders, and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general repairs independently.
• Maintain exceptional curb appeal.
• Complete daily resident work orders.
• Be available for on-call after hours.
• Must have applicable maintenance tools.
• Assist neighboring properties in maintenance tasks.
• Pick up supplies from area vendors with a registered and insured vehicle.
• Report health and safety concerns to the Regional Manager and Maintenance Superintendent.
• Travel to regional and corporate trainings as required.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff.
