Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties as directed by the maintenance supervisor and property manager, while upholding the highest standards of customer service and curb appeal.

The role involves repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC and grounds; perform general carpentry; conduct preventative maintenance; maintain work orders; inspect properties for safety; participate in on-call emergencies and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year experience in property management or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds.
• Perform wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/door repair, tile repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, etc.
• Maintain work order system and ensure orders are completed to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings and amenities for safety and cleanliness; identify issues.
• Assist with property emergencies and on-call duties.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues.
• Promote safety and risk management and professional demeanor at all times.
• Interact with residents professionally and foster positive relationships.
