Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• General maintenance and general carpentry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
• Carry out carpentry duties: wallboard repair, countertops/cabinets, finish carpentry, window/glass, door/lock, and ceramic tile repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, and more.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas for safety and cleanliness; identify issues.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow removal, fires, floods).
• Communicate maintenance issues promptly to leadership.
• Observe safety and risk management policies.
• Promote customer satisfaction through cleanliness and curb appeal; interact with residents professionally.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, other properties, and agencies.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance; follow uniform policy.
• Adhere to all components of the risk management program.
