Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain our multifamily communities, ensure safe, well‑functioning systems, and preserve curb appeal. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and related equipment while delivering outstanding service to residents.

The role requires hands‑on skills, on-call availability, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Hands-on maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• On-call availability to address emergencies.
• Reliable transportation and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service, verbal communication, and teamwork skills; basic computer skills (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with maintenance requests.
• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Make-ready process for vacant homes including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards; comply with policies and regulations.
