Job summary

Avanath Capital Management, LLC is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep our properties safe and welcoming. You will perform on-site repairs, routine maintenance, and respond to resident requests to maintain curb appeal and functionality.

The role requires hands-on skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliances, plus a customer‑service focus and reliability. On-call availability and a valid EPA certification are highly desired.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Hands‑on maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on‑call to address emergencies.
• Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with maintenance requests and high-quality service.
• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make‑ready process for vacant homes and coordinate vendor work as needed.
• Assist in grounds upkeep, cleaning, and safety inspections to maintain property condition.
• Follow safety procedures and report any safety concerns to management.
