Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform technical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and amenities meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will supervise up to 5 technicians, manage outside vendors, and help develop budgets for repairs and capital expenses.

This role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service, maintaining property standards, and leveraging carpentry and hot-water knowledge to keep communities in top condition.

Qualifications

• Vast maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• Knowledge of hot water heater repair and maintenance, carpentry, and safe use of hand and power tools.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; knowledge of Yardi/One Site is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage outside vendors and follow up on warranties by email and phone.
• Develop standards for the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property.
• Knowledge of hot water repair and maintenance highly desired.
• Basic carpentry knowledge required.
• Supervise up to 5 employees.
• Assist with developing the budget for regular repair and maintenance and capital expense.
• Delegate and complete resident work orders in a timely manner.
