Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical work ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of community buildings and grounds. You will handle work orders, diagnose defects, and carry out repairs in line with policy.

Responsibilities include making-ready units for occupancy, supervising vendors, and maintaining supplies within budget while upholding Greystar standards and safety guidelines. A valid EPA certification and practical maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and training in maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certifications if working on HVAC systems.
• Experience in property maintenance and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in resident units and common areas.
• Perform make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and inspections.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, and amenity spaces to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by teams and contractors to meet quality and safety rules.
• Manage inventory and budgeting for repairs within guidelines.
• Follow safety policies and keep MSDS sheets current.
